The country that unites Europe and Asia, with her glorious past that lasted for centuries: Turkey. The land of many cultures, decorated with the most impressive historical ruins and monuments of these glorious ages and epochs, has been the cradle of many outstanding civilisations.

Kas

Kas means eyebrow in Turkish and the town was called with such a name due to its geography. The bay curves like an eyebrow over the Greek island of Meis, which, so the locals tell, means “eye” in Greek.

" In spite of its never diminishing fame and prosperity, people of Kas have always managed to keep their city’s modest but dignified atmosphere."

" Do not plan a daily visit to Kas. Not because of the distance and the ride, but because you will never be able to discover Kas in such a short time. Once you are there, the excellent climate and the restful atmosphere will make you forget about the rest of the world."

Kas is a small picturesque town, first mentioned in Lycian times as Antiphellos. The town has small white houses with wooden balconies, the traditional friday market and small boats that take you to places like Kekova or even the Greek Island of Kastellorizon.

Kas is a lovely spot surrounded on three sides by mountains. The friendly local fisherman are happy to run a water taxi service to take you to your favourite bay, cove or beach along the coast.

The swimming and diving are excellent in the clear waters around Kas.
